The Learning Loft works with RM’s SuccessMaker software working within the national curriculum.
SuccessMaker has a proven track record across the country and is used by a large number of schools. Independent studies have shown there to be a significant improvement in pupil’s attainment of the core subjects when using SuccessMaker.
A number of independent studies have proved that SuccessMaker can make a real difference to results. In addition, a large number of schools have undertaken their own research, comparing the results of control groups with SuccessMaker groups and measuring their gains with standard national tests. These have shown that pupils make significant learning gains using the system.

Technology Colleges Trust
Research by the TC Trust showed that, on average, pupils made:
- 12 months gain in Maths in approximately 4 months.
- 12 months gain in reading in approximately 3 months.
- 12 months gain in spelling in approximately 2 months.
Fischer Family Trust
Studies by the Fischer Family Trust into the effect of ICT resources on learning show that SuccessMaker has a "significant" impact in both Maths and English.
SuccessMaker National Survey
A national survey of 234 schools using SuccessMaker showed that 97% of schools have seen clear learning gains which are directly attributable to their use of SuccessMaker.
